Good size library with Very friendly and helpful staff however all it has going for it. The wifi is no where near good enough, most weeks come in to use the computers they are always a weeks too slow. The noise is bareable at best but understandable at the same time.
im giveing this place 1 star, im a student of dingwall academy and getting told off for talking about my future yet they allow others to play music and talk unless your from the academy. this is utter bull because were trying to get a good enducation but are getting told to shut up and are very rude!
The Dingwall Library is very modern and welcoming. The fact that it's joined to the school means that during the week students come in and out, but whenever I pop in it doesn't seem to be particularly noisy or busy. There are plenty of computers and lots of things organised that are suitable for kids (reading challenges and nursery-aged reading groups) and the staff are friendly. The fiction section is a bit confusing (arranged in curves?), but it's well labelled. All in all, a very nice place to pop in and out of for a book.
The noisiest library I've ever been in. Went to this library to study. Two librarians sitting at the desk constantly talking. I was there a hour and all I could hear was them talking. The council wonders why nobody is using the library...
